Studied at the Faculty of History and Philosophy, University of Latvia, where obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and completed a PhD in History in 2023. She has been affiliated with the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the University of Latvia since 2007 and was elected Leading Researcher in 2023. She has participated in the state research programme «National Identity» and several research projects funded by the Latvian Council of Science. She currently leads the research project «The Post-Exile Phenomenon: Transformations and Adaptation in the Latvian Exile Community after 1991» (Latvian Council of Science, No. lzp-2024/1-0114).
