Research Assistant at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, University of Latvia. For several years has participated in folklore and life story field-works organized by the University of Latvia in various regions of Latvia. Has developed and led a lecture course on Latvian legal folklore at the UL Summer School and Latvian diaspora camps in the USA. In 2018, joined the project «Narrative perspectives on intergenerational transmission of memory».
