The proposed paper tends to offer the perspective of Latvian women displaced during the World War II by exploring how these women experienced their displacement and how they compose the narratives of this experience in the accounts registered more than 50 years afterwards (in the life story interviews gathered at the Latvian National Oral History Archive).
